Queen Of Sheba Trading Co.

The Queen of Sheba Trading Co., established in 1998, brings traditional and world culture to the urban and festival market, with a meaningful twist.  In many  cases, the twist is that the seller actually knows the history of the artifacts- how, why, and where they were made and of what materials.  Michelle, the owner, is committed to culling our collective world civilization- and giving people a chance to see it, use it, share it, come to appreciate it- in an everyday way; according to it’s original and resonant purposes.

Her vending tables have been known to re- invigorate cartoon-balloon and sunglasses type environments with “whistles made from water buffalo horn” and other timelees, inexpensive crafts for children.  She aims to maintain the sense of “discovery” in the marketplace, both for adults and children.  Many products go on to “re-appear” in the mainstream marketplace, but you should stay in touch with the Queen of Sheba Trading Co. (www.Akhasa.com) and Get It First!

When you meet “Akhasa” in person, you should take the opportunity to commission a personalized design, according to her Ethno- Spiritual Design Principles ™ which are based on 20 years of craft experience.  The LiAni Shawl ™ and the Sosa necklace are trademarks of the 2009 season.
